Irrelivant, you have corrected numbers which take temp and humidity into account and correct for them.

Nice numbers though....

What was the AF? It looks terribly lean on the NA runs. Assuming the dotted line is set to 13:1

Def some good numbers, and while it looks like your setup pulls hard all the way to 7k rpms, I also thought that the A/F ratio looked too lean.

His cam/engine combo looks to have an RPM range of 4500+. See how it dips and then takes off...

You where right it was set to 13.1 I was running 14.1 N/A which I can deal with the cam pulls from 3K to 7K. The dip was the tranny I don't know what is going on she is going to RPM here soon. The red run was the N20 and it is supposed to hit at 3K so I don't know my tuner was there and I am happy with the numbers. 500 is a good number any way you look at it.

I wouldnt be happy with 14:1. You can burn up a piston in a hurry that way, your EGTs are sky high at that point. Get it back into the 12.8-13:1 range.

I agree 100%. You're leaving power on the table, not to mention a more reliable setup.

What i dont get is the following, we dynoed our budie's cobra she was was real lean with a mail order tune he got. i mean 17:1 she dynoed 425 like that and when my tuner got her down to 13:1 she dropped to 408 (-17hp). now am not arguing the point i just got off the phone with him and he informed me that he added fuel when i got off the dyno and he was in my car for about 5 minutes and he did reflash the computer i do remember that but why the drop in hp in the cobra if any one like to take a stab at that????

I'm referring to LS1 motors, nothing else. Also, it's pretty well known that peak hp in these motors is around 13:1 A/F ratio, and 14ish A/F isn't ideal.

With regard to the cobra, I don't know anything about Ford's, but comparing the two isn't an apples to apples comparison.

My thoughts as well.

17:1 in your buddy's Cobra is awful even for a mailorder tune. Usually forced induction cars need to be at least 12.5:1 if not fatter in my experience.

I like my N/A cars around 13.3:1 preferably. Lean is mean, but let's not go crazy.

Ive seen most 03-04 cobra run in the 11.5-12.0 af range. Ive built quite a few and they all have made good power there. Who ever sent the tune should be shot.
