Default missfire problem

so latley ive been getting a coil pack a code p0351 i figured since i havent been driving it that much that could have been why maybe a little moisture or what not. so it came on a few times and i cleared the code. it drove fine for about 100 miles then came back also with a missfire in cyl 1. the missfire got bad so i figured id switch coil 1 with coil 2 took it out for a drive and its missfiring pretty bad but no light on the dash i pull over scan it and it still threw the code coil pack a p0351 now could it have damaged the computer or something since i switched the coils and it still reads #1

It shouldn't damage the computer. Coil packs are made the same for every cylinder so switching them shouldn't hurt it. So im guessing its worse then coils and plugs. Did you do any work to it and then start to notice these problems?
