Question Stock program and TSP 231/237 cam????

Im installing PP st2 5.3s and a TSp 231/237 598 595 112lsa cam and i need the car to stay alive long enough to break in the cam and heads and get it over to the shop to tune it will a stock progrma work? Will it even start up?

I would imagine it will start up no problem if all is properly installed and with stock tune your idle will be rough, etc. and you will be done on power but with your manual tranny my educated guess would be you will still be streetable and should have no MAJOR PROBLEMS during break in except maybe for a couple quick stalls possibly at red lights once in a while, some bucking in lower rpms, rough idle, etc. You should be fine but the sooner you get that prof. tune up on a wide band dyno the better off and happiers you will be no doubt!!!

Thanks ill give it a shot, i was just worried that it would be to lean, and i might mess something up, but it should be ok till i get to the shop

Just fired up my PP S2 LS6/ tsp231/237 combo last night. I have slight tuning, but not muck off the stocker. Cold, fired right up and held dead on at 750rpm. Hot, had a little problem starting. Just had to feather the gas a little. Still needs to learn a little. You should be fine.
