Default Prep block after head gasket failure

I'll be getting my heads back next week after a small mill job. I've never had a head gasket blow out. So other than a clean is that all?

I'm installing head studs with the heads and wow I had no idea studs were that much!

clean bolt holes, maybe even thread-chase them. . . clean surfaces... (brake cleaner does well)

Ask the machine shop to provide you with flatness and Ra values once the heads are milled.

Hopefully your block is flat. Makes sure you thoroughly blow out your head bolt holes and clean the deck of your block.
