Default Matching G5X3 with prc heads???

Could I run the 2.5 heads with the G5X3 cam? The specs are around 234/242 .600/.610 112 LSA. Could they be milled for more compression? Setup would be for a 99 C5 with 3.90 gears. Car has gone 12.37@114 with just boltons and a 1.88 60ft. Thanks!

If you are willing to flycut, sure. Otherwise, that cam is marginal with stock heads and stock valve sizes. Once you throw bigger valves and a mill in the equasion, you will need more clearance.

^^ Like said above, if you want to mill or run a thinner gasket you'll definitely need to cut valve reliefs in the pistons.

This DCR calculator is great, and super easy to use.

You'll be able to play with head gasket thickness and various amounts of milling to reach your desired compression. Also, be sure to account for the loss of compression due to flycutting (generally 1-2cc).

With a good tune and...
91 octane, shoot for around 11.1 SCR and 8.5 DCR.
93 octane, around 11.5 SCR and 8.5-8.8 DCR
