Re: heads with Hotcam?? I know there is one guy out there i read about with "home ported" heads as he called them. I cant remember his #'s. I WAS going to stick with my hotcam with my new heads to see if i could hit 400. But i decided sice i was in there to go bigger. Good luck, I like my hotcam!! 2nd best mod to date, next to the 12 bolt. Just have to let it go for the heads/cam combo to get more HP in my opinion. Hotcam #'s in sig on stock heads.

Re: heads with Hotcam?? That's me and I am about to change cams. I will say this my best time to date is 11.3@120 on drag radials. It's still a fully loaded SS. Weighs about 3700 with me in it. I will agree there are better cams out there. For the money and the sound I love the hotcam. It's done very well for me...go to www.rrheads.com and send Joe an email. Tell him I sent you, he's just closed up doing head work, but he will still do custom work on the side. Good luck and if you need to know more let me know. Dyno numbers were 414/431 I know the HP is right, but not sure on the torque, but that's close anyway.
heads with Hotcam?? Anybody run ported heads and Ls6 intake with the Hotcam? With all the mods in sig....does anyone think it would hurt my torque too much to benefit from the additional ponies? It pulls awesome from 2000 to about 6000rpm and i only run a tenth slower than my buddies M6 with lots of mods and larger cam, ported heads, Ls6 intake and not near as much traction as he has. Need some opinions and i'm sure everyone has them. Thanks, james.
