Default Setting Lash

Is there any right ups on how to do this? I know the general idea of how to do it, just want to double check.

If the rockers are stock, there is no setting the lash. You just tighten the rocker arm bolt to 22 ft lbs. The rocker pedistal bottoms on the head and the bolt is just keeping it there. Don't think old school rocker adjustment on these.

When the intake valve is down 1/4 of the way adjust the exhaust. When the exhaust is down 1/4 of the way adjust the intake. I usually just place the feeler gauge in there and tighten so that it feels firm and I can get it in and out. You'll get the hang of it after you do it a couple times.

Adjust the intake valve when the exhaust valve begins to open.

Adjust the exhaust valve when the intake valve begins to close.
