get a good dual spring with pressure somewhere in the ~130 seat and ~400 open ballpark, and if you're going to be turning it past 6500 rpm get a good hardened pushrod that is same length as stock (7.400 i believe?) but i know as long as your not turning more than 6500 the stock pushrods will suffice as long as you don't mechanically over rev it ( if its a stick car ) but if you have the extra cash you might as well throw a good set of pushrods in it while your in there. as for springs patriot gold duals are a bargain they sell a kit with Ti. retainers, super 7 locks and viton seals for i think like 280 bucks, which is the route alot of people go... hope that helps

pac 1218 or 1518 springs and some after market 7.4 push rods. WS6 store sells a spring compressor.how many miles on the car?mite need a new timing chain and it is a good time to replace the oil pump.go to LS1HOWTO.com for instructions.
