I know i'm gonna get flamed for this, so before you all tell me to get a "real" cam, I just wanted to know what is the quickest e.t. and mph recorded by a hotcammed LS1? Preferably cam-only but all results are appreciated.

I've gone 12.1@117 @ 3485lb's at 1750' DA in a 6spd. Z28 w/ 16" rims on stock heads. . .oh, and it's never been dyno-tuned. I have increased timing and my limiter is set to 6600rpms.
My mods: hooker LT's, mufflex 3" y-pipe, custom catback w/ ultraflow 3" muffler, LS6 intake, 4.10's in the stock 10 bolt, 245 nitto DR's, crank pulley, Lid, and I think that's pretty much it.

It's not the fastest mph, but when you factor in the no dyno-tune, and no skinnies, and DA, and even raceweight, it's up there w/ 90% of the other cams that people love to say make more HP than the Hotcam.

Try 11.29@120.9 on a 7.14@97 1/8 on a 1.54 60' on BFG Drag Radials.
I'm also in Ky Fbodies Unlimited AVEZ so if you have questions you can pm me on shift points or any other questions. I've wondered for a long time, I haven't saw anyone post a quicker ET or MPH out of a hotcam than that though.

OH yeah and don't worry I've thought about changing cams myself, but I am honest scared the car would slow down. Once you hit a good combo, don't mess with it.

 

i am doing a similar setup but have a little smaller converter so I will be hoping for slightly worse results. Those are pretty good though for any cam on those mods

 

My old combo with stock heads,stock ls1 intake, and no tune ran 11.50's @116-117 all day long with the hot cam...I miss the hot cam lol it was sweet and loped like crazy

 

Snake Skinner, 11.29@120.9 mph with the hotcam is just plain awsome. I was way off on my estimate. 120.9 mph in a n/a A4 is unbelievable. Great Job.
