Spun a bearing!

Spun a bearing! So I have about 8k miles on my new forged engine. Spun a damn bearing!! The engine looks fine from what I am told...but needs to go to a machine shop to be checked. I dont have a lot of money to spend on it since I JUST GOT THE forged engine. So what are my options. What kinda money am I looking to pay to have this fixed? Like ball park?

The engine rebuild has a little over 3k miles on it. As soon as I heard the ticking I took it it. I didnt build the engine..a shop in NC built it. As of now I am told there does not seem to be any damage as far as they can see. I am hoping this all cost less then 1k..or I am listing my car for 15k as is! Thanks!
Where here in NC are you??? There are only 2 shops here I trust..... One around Raleigh the other in Mooresville...Well from what I have HEARD but no experience Tick would maybe be the 3rd.....
