i have decided to build a 370 and i am going to go with a cathedral port head. i am looking to get into the 9.90 rang with a 200 shot. i have been looking at the tfs 215,225 and 235's
what do you guys recommend? the setup will include fast102 setup, 1 7/8 headers and custom grind cam from pat g.

i would run the l92 heads .. maybe with a lil extra port work.. they flow really good out of the boxx.. but if i had to chose some of the afrs i go with the 235... my boy had some in his camaro made 550 rwhp with those heads and a vindicator cam and 100 shot...

what do you guys think as far as a trickflow head? 215's,225 or 235's?
Do the TEA trickflow's have additional porting on them or are they out of the boxes trickflows?

any stock casting will not hold up to a 200-300hp shot the OP is looking at. they will lift and leak badly. maybe not right off, but they will.
TEA's trickflows are ported otherwise. TEA is right next door to TrickFlow here in Ohio so they work pretty close together. i would give TEA a call and see what they can do for you.

i will be calling Brian tomorrow if he doesnt get my pm.
i still would also like to guess suggestions on which trickflow or maybe someone who has a setup that can give results?
is there any downfall in lets say running a 235 or 245 head with a 370? is there such thing as to big of a head?

if you have too big a head, you will lose velocity on a motor that cant take as much as the heads flow, you then end up with a lazy engine. now if you had 235's on say a 408 or so, that would be fine because it would be pushing more air thru the runners into the cylinders, enough air that it can maintain velocity.
