Default Best CAM?

can I get some opinions on which cam to get? see mods in signature and I plan on doing LTs soon as well. I am not a track demon and need it as a daily driver, just want a nice loping car with decent(ok) gas mileage with some more guts than the normal... i stress that I want it to be a daily driver... inputs welcome

Throw the flowmaster away and get a TR224 or Tr220 on a 114lsa, Great W/o tunning with an A4. With tunning you could run alot of cams. My cam works well with no tunning

IF you dont have a converter get that FIRST. Its the best mod for an A4.Better than a cam catback and lid combined.

Yep, with an A4 get a converter first... especially with those 3.42 gears you got in there already. And make sure you put those LTs on at the same time or before the cam... don't do the cam first.

As for what cam to get, I'd say the 224 cam on a 114 lsa (that's what I'm installing in my car). Should be a good cam for a daily driver with a really good power increase... After doing a lot of research on the subject, that's the cam I chose.

sounds good to me... 224 with 114 LSA.. ok

in order then, what should be first, second, last?:
LTs, CAM, Torque Converter.... (and what stall on the converter? 2800-3500?)

I'd go torque converter, LTs, then the cam... I'd say a 3200-3500 stall converter would work well, wouldn't go below 3200 though. 3500 stall converter, some LTs with off-road pipe, and a TR224 cam would make for an awesome setup that's still great for daily driving.

the 224 114 is a great cam but give us more info; do you to pass any emissions, where do you want your powerband, when and if your going to tune, ect.

and also why the hell do you have your rev limiter set to 6500 you dont have any mods to warrent the extra rpm and the stock cam peaks at 5500 rpm or so. your risking valve float spinning to 6500 on the stock springs.
