anyone know the specifics of the stock cam in an A4 2001 Z28?
Also, true that the 2001s got an LS6 intake (reason for the HP rating increase to 310 for 01 and 02)?

 

I dont know the exact specs on the 01-02 cams, but i know that they are smaller than the 98-00 cams and with the cam being smaller it made the EGR usless. And yes the 01+ cars do have the LS6 intake. Also if im not mistaken I think the head changed some too for 01, but maybe someone else can come in and clarify that.

 

Fbody cams are the same with a4 or m6 in 01. Heads are the same for 2000 thru 2002, they were upgraded in 2000 to a better flowing set of valves and valvejob cuts on head. Either starting in 99 or 2k GM has better casting process that changed the color and texture of LS1 heads
