Degree the cam?

Degree the cam? In all the talk about cams, does nobody mess with degreeing them in the LS1. Just line up the dots and stab it in, so to speak. That is what I have always done, I was just curious what everyone thought one way or the other.

Dustin, i believe in degreeing cam in most cases. Depending on your cam swap selection you may want to install intake centerline straight up or retarded with most LS1 motors. This will usually give best performance with least amount of compromise.
