Hey guys i live in CA so what is the largest camshaft i can put in my engine and yet it will still pass CA smog. i want something that is the biggist bang for the buck and still pass CA SMOG. if i new anyone that does smog i would throw a MS4 or a TREX but unfortunitly i cant so what do you guys think i can get away with???

would a tr224/224 with 112 LSA pass smog with a good tune?

from what I under stand you need a cam with negative over lap. here is how you find over lap. intake duration at .050 + exhaust duration at .050,divide by 4,than subtract the LSA.good luck

called geoff at EPS and i think im going to run the 222/226 .597 .598 114 LSA he said i should be good with a good tune.

A 224/224 114LSA will pass witha good tune. Anything bigger is iffy and MS4/TREX LMAO....

EPS 218/226 113lsa. or EPS 222/226 w/114lsa or call Geoff and have him spec you a custom cam.
