how much boost will a stock ls1 hold
i am considering boosting my ls1 i have an ms3 cam and longtubes and fast 92 and throttle body right now and i was thinking of throwing a turbo on there as well ahaha idk if it would work well with that cam lol
i wanted to know how much boost the stock bottom end would hold? or if its even a good idea to turbo it?? maybe procharger???

While some overlap is benefitial in boosted applications, the MS3 has too much to be an efficient setup on a stock block.
But to answer your initial Q, about 10lbs of boost with Meth injection and proper tuning /fueling should hold for awhile.

Regardless of which type of forced induction you choose, your MS3 is going to be too big for an FI setup. I personally was looking at the FI cam that Comp makes for EPP.
Anyway, I'd agree with predator and say 8-10, keeping in consideration that you have a proper meth system and a TUNE, which is definitely the most important part of keeping your block alive.

Buddy of mine accidently hit 12lbs with his stock shortblock procharged TA on the dyno a few weekends ago. It put down 566hp and 525trq to the wheels. He got the new pulley setup that is suppose to reduce belt slip, well it definetely worked that time!
That is really pushing it on the stock shortblock, it was only suppose to be 8lbs.
