throttle sticking?

throttle sticking? I hope this belongs in this section...but here goes. I'll be driving down the road and coming to a stop with the clutch in and my rpm's get stuck at like 1700 or so. Then after I come to a stop my rpm's will stay there for a few seconds and then fall back to the normal 800. This is very annoying, has anyone else had this problem?
first check that all lines are on the manifold.....if they are, then get some carb cleaner and with the engine running spray some around the surfaces of the manifold and the head, and the TB and manifold. If there is a leak, the engine will suck the carb cleaner in and usually stumble.

I had a small rock get wedged between the throttle return spring and the stop support.... It freaked me out at 65MPH, and I quickly pulled over and I noticed a slight uneven feel while moving throttle by hand. I lookecd closer and saw that bugger there.
