Default Oil pressure problems

I just put together my 408 last year, no problems, last week driving the car after it warmed up the car has pressure at 35 to 30 psi, usally the pressure is about 45 to 50, pressure still climbs with rpms but doesnt go over 45 psi. my questions is pump or o-ring?

im referring to the dash gauge but the sending unit is brand new, installed when i put the new motor in, and the oil pressure is all over the place.
