Default Head question?

Wich factory head would be best to go with to have worked 241's or 5.3 a buddy of mine has both sets and was goin to sell one and work the other for his car. I've heard a couple people say the 5.3s would be best but I want some more opinions.

The 5.3s seem to be a better flowing casting in stock trim. A lot of the sponsors offer different stages of ported 5.3 heads. I haven't seen a set of ported 241 heads offered in years.

the 5.3s would offer more room to grow. If you dont want to touch them and just throw them on the car I would think about the 241s that have been worked. depending on whats done to 241s. The 5.3l heads that are ported are a great head for the ls1 though.

Both heads are in stock form right now and I
debating on swapin the lt for ls1 in my z so the 5.3 heads would be the best to go with? I'm prolly end up with a stock bore and stroke 6.0 or a 408 strocker depending on the budget.
