Default need help with piston?

so im making my ls1 into a 383 and have a 4.00 compstar stroke and 6.125 rods. i see the sponsors have pistons that say 3.905 bore( which i need) but it says 3.622 stroke. would those pistons work with a 4.00 stroke?

NO, they will not work.
I just finished my 383 I went with a set of wisecos, the difference is where the piston pin is located on the piston, it is higher on the stroker piston, You have to have a piston that is for the 4.00 stroke, also you need to take into account the compression ratio, as to what size dish you may need. Call a sponsor and have them help you determine which piston you need.
