Default P1 procharged lq4 build ideas

Ok well I'm going to be starting me lq4 p1sc build for my bird shortly, what would be the best setup for street strip? Bore .030 with stock crank forged rods/pistons or full forged 398. Looking for the best combo or close atleast. Ideas

I would keep the stock crank and forge the rod/pistons. That would get you 370ci, and you would save a 1,000 $$$ on the crank for your fuel sytem or other goodies that FI needs. Pully that P1 to the max and have fun

Is this for the street or strip? What size cc's are the 243's heads? Have you bought the P1 yet?

It's both with majority street driven, as for the cc size on the heads I'm not sure and the p1 I have but is a standard rotation so I'm selling or trading it for another

If your going to sell what you have I would look for a D1 procharger. It will feed the 370ci alot better than the P1 will. Also if this is mostly for the street I would shoot for 9.5:1 compression. So you'll have to figure out what cc's the heads are and choose you piston dish to get the compression where you want it. If you havent bought the heads yet look around for some 317 castings. They have a 72cc combustion chamber and that will help lower compression so you dont have to use as big of a dished piston.
