getting a motor build and once it comes back i woild like to double check anything i can. what is there to check? the only thing i can tink about is the thrust bearing play...but what number should i be looking for?

 

Guess another thing you could do, is hook the starter up, and run a compression check on it, the rings will not be seated yet, but you should still be reading around the same compression on every cylinder. ( make sure you have oil in it)
