will i need tuning with a Z06 cam?

i know it's not a huge cam, but i have an auto, so i'm asking. it is probably recomended, but i'm in school, and low on cash right now. thanks guys.

nope. just put a few miles on the car so the pcm learns the new fuel curves and you should be good to go.

I run that cam in my 98 TA. It's truly a plug and play cam, but will definitely benefit from some tuning. I would at least buy a used HPP3 to bump up the shift points, trust me it will help.

im also running that cam in an A4 with no tunning other than hpp3 works fine but to take advantage of it youll want to raise the shift points. but thats not to say you that it wouldnt benefit form further tuning its just not required.
