what length push rod?
There is no lash as in a solid setup. The plunger depth in the lifter (preload) is set within a rather forgiving range. Yes, the rockers are basically a shaft setup but they are individual rather then a long shaft like a set of Jesel's.
Great info here. I have been thinking gen I through the whole thing til someone mentioned the shaft mounted thing. If you are just doing a cam swap and not milling the heads or anything could you just measure the difference in your base circle compared to stock. Take the difference and apply that to the pushrod length.
Ei. If your factory base circle is 1.000" and you change it to a cam with a base circle of .950". Wouldn't you need a pushrod that is .050" longer than stock.
