best cam for my heads?
car will be driven a lot so i'd like to stay away from a cam that's lopey as hell (i'd like to stay 114-116 if possible) and good size. heads are 243 stage 2 heads with 67cc and valves are intake 2.02 exhaust 1.57 intake at first will be LS1 but will be upgrading to a fast intake and fast tb with 42lb injectors. i was thinking of the el torro cam but i'm open to suggestions and definitely the cam guru's are welcome! the best cam for the set-up, not only for DD but also for when i go to the track and it'll put down a good 1/4 times

You will need to provide more information on your setup for people to give you any advice. Why don't you download Cam Quest from Comp Cams to give you an idea. I think that the best way to go is with a custom spec cam for your specific setup. The el torro cam is good cam and has put down some good numbers. I would look at the EPS lobes that also seem to put down good numbers. Good luck with your cam selection.

your heads will be able to support your goal, but you need to remember to match your cam to your stall. it'll only make you that much happier and your ls1's performance will reflect as well.

so deciding totally on a 3500 stall isn't best yet? to me in my situation and how often the car will be driven (pretty much every day and i'll put 20K on it a year lol) so anything above that wont be ideal for me. so how should i factor all that in or should i just wait to decide fully on the cam? i know i'd like to have a power band from around 2400-6800 if that helps
