Default Wierd idle.. HELP!!!

Hey guys, I have an '01 WS6 and upon starting it this morning (cold start) the RPMs would drop down to about 200 and almost dies, then goes back up to about 1000, then fluctuates between those ranges. Once I got the car in full operating temperature, the idle is fine. Anyone know the problem? I don't think it's the fuel pump because even with it idling weird, I get full power upon WOT. It's just when idling on a cold start.. and this only happens SOMETIMES.. please help thanks!

stock internals? Mine does that with my donkey dick cam in the hot weather. In the cold, it cold idles around 1100-1200 and I have no issues. Tuning issues?

More info on setup

just a shot in the dark here but... have you checked/cleaned your MAF lately? A week ago mine started to struggle during idle and had a weird feel to it altogether. I limped it home and pulled out the MAF and found a small white fuzzy flower seed on one of my MAF resistor wires. Plucked that mother f'er off and it's back to normal

If it straighted out and idles fine after it warmed up a little you may be weighing into something being wrong too much. Like he suggested. Clean up some of your induction and maybe even hit up a deep seafoam cleaning.

Well if it is stock, I would do as suggested, run a cleaner through your intake track. I ran a Chemtool (I think?) 3 part cleaner and it worked very well on making my car idle almost as if it had the mildest of cams, BUT I am pretty sure my ring on cylinder 7 is fubar and that pressure is pushing gases and combustion by products through my PCV system and making my manifold dirty as can be.
