Optimal Cam ??? I have a 98 Blazer with a stock 5.3. What would roughly be a good cam range for the 5.3 ? Stock converter and manifolds.

Mild side...Comp 212/218 Low Lift
Little more agressive...TR 220/220 (2800+ stall recomended)
The Comp 212/218 is probably your best bet with stock stall and makes great torque...and that is what trucks need!

yeah. i think i know the article. i think thats with some AFR ported heads and the comp thumpr cam. thumpr cam is like 218/230. someone will probably correct me, i dont feel like looking the info up.
