I have an Ls1 out of a 99 Camaro and I recently picked up a LS2 intake from a GTO for $100 at a swap meet. My question is what do I need to change to run the intake. I know the throttle bodies are different but I am putting all this in a 70 Camaro so it has to have a cable not fly by wire. Also I am planning on running 243 heads on it but I am confused on what engines those heads came off of. Are they LS6 or LS2 heads? My last question is is the LS2 Or LS6 manifold better flowing? haven't had much experience with the LS2...

but, i do know 243 heads are from the LS6

 

243 heads are also found on ls2 gtos.

 

from what i have heard the ls6 intake is superior to ls2 intake. i dont know this to be fact though.

 

ls2 intake sucks and don't flow better then the ls6 intake!! ls2 gto came with 243 heads or you can get 799 heads same thing as 243!!!!!
