Default How much to mill?

I have mahle pistons with -4cc reliefs with TSPs Torquer 3 and I will be using 799s milled. I was looking at 10.9:1 compression with a 57cc chamber but I was not sure if milling that much would cause any issues. Is it safe to mill heads that much?

Call TSP and talk with them, they helped me out a bunch when I was wanting to mill my heads.

You can mill the heads that far if you would like, but it will start to kill flow of the head. We will usually go down to a 59cc chamber and then run a .040" thickness gasket to get that kind of compression ratio.

I think I will need a .045 head gasket from what I'm looking at. As far as I can tell if I am measuring correctly my piston is coming out of the hole .012 +/- 2. I'm not sure I am measuring right or not.
I have my dial indicator set at zero right next to the piston on the block .
Then I move it right over the edge of the middle of the piston and turn it to find my measurement.
Does that sound right or should I be looking at the very center of the piston?

So being that the block has been decked if I can get good quench (32-38) with a 45 or 51 gasket will my compression be the same as a 40 gasket as long as the quench is in that zone?

Thanks for all the help
