Trex Base Circle
Anyone know the base cirle for the lobes on a Trex?
New cam going in uses a 1.392 on the intake lobe and 1.416 on the exhaust. Just trying to figure out if this is going to change the push rod length.. I'm sure it will

Doing your homework on me?? Or does it just say that in a few recent threads
Yes, 7.400 with a single plane and a dominator TB.. Not sure what the single plane does for a push rod though..

Ha, yeah I just saw you say it. Didnt know if you ran a longer or shorter than stock length on the trex.
I set it up the valve train exactly the way it was on my buddies ride since I bought the heads and cam off him (Minus lifters). But I was doing some double checking today and it looks like the valvetrain wants about 9 1/4 turns on my 6.80" adjustable push rod to take the slack out of the intakes and 9 3/4 turn on the exhaust. Meaning I was running .1375 of preload on the intakes .1125 on the exhaust.. Sure didn't seem like that much though when setting them to 0 lash and TQ them down when I did it. Thought I only had 3/4 turn in them. At .047 per turn, I would have had to have more than 2 turns.. Weird..
I'll double check a few more tomorrow, but that's my findings today..
