Hopefully in the next few weeks. The new locks and retainers will not raise the price of the heads. All pricing will stay the same.
I want to use the best quality components that are available. ![Cheers!!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cheers.gif)

Since no one has asked the question properly. Can someone specify examples of "Super Seven" retainers in the market today, 918's? comp duals? rev duals? what....
People want to know if they can switch without buying a whole new spring/retainer set.

Super 7 was designed by a gentleman years ago for the cup teams. It is a thick keeper with a 14 degree included angle. The properties of the lock design makes it and the retainer as one. This helped the Cup guys from dropping valves at 9K and destroying engines.
The std. 7 degree retainer that all or most of you have will not fit. Any of the Manley/Patriot/DelWest/Comp super 7 retainers will fit this lock.
