i tirned my car off and my engine went sluggish b4 turning off.i go again to restart heard wat sounded like lifter noise and had no oil pressure.any ideas of wat i should look for.also oil level was fine and no shavings in the oil

 

have you dont any work to it lately? oil change, cam?

 

my oil pump went out.i swapped it and everthing is normal.it had scarring and nicks so im guessing it locked rt b4 it turned off.it was on an m6 wit 100k

 

Did you see 0 oil pressure while you were cranking the starter or when the engine was turning?
