Default Cylinder head question

Hey guys, I have a lead on a set of patriot performance ported LQ4 heads that have been milled down to 54CC. I have been searching and im about 90% sure they will fit my 02 SS with no issue. But i would just like to confirm. Also is anyone using ported LQ4 heads and if so how much of a bump in power did they give you? And one other thing since they are milled down to 54cc's how much of a bump in compression will it yield?

Thanks guys

Wow 54cc would require TONS of milling to get from the stock LQ4 70cc chambers. You might be careful with that setup, I can't imagine you'd have any p/v left after decking something like .110+!! What camshaft are you running? What all mods & goals do you have? I can help you with a lot of GOOD options for similar money that will make good power & help you to get a combo that works well for you.

Give us a call, we'd be happy to help!!

A lot, about 12.25 CR. You might have clearance issues, not to mention the head deck will be very thin. I'd pass if it were me.

Sorry, I mis-read his advertisement. He does not have a casting number listed but after re-reading it im thinking its a 243 cast head. As for a price he is asking 400 for them FWIW
