Default Patriot Heads

Got Patriot h/c package from ws6 store, Im pretty sure they are 5.3l heads, and i know they are a gm casting, the number on the heads is 243, how do i tell what "stage" they are, how are the different stages determine? They are as fallows: 59cc chambers, 1.57/2.02 valves, stainless patriot valves, dual gold springs, bronze guides, titanium keepers, and harland sharp 1.7 n/a roller rockers. Just curious as to how these specs might compare to some other heads on the market? The work pretty good for what I am doing, though I havent ahd experience with any other aftermarket cylinder heads.

That means you would have had the Patriot 225/229 cam. Let us know how that goes for you after those heads. I have the same cam, just need the heads

If they are 243 casting heads, they are not 5.3 heads, they are LS6/LS2 heads. With those valves and specs you listed, they are probably Stage II heads.
