over heating

over heating My engine temp has been hotter then usual for about the last week. been running about 230 or so, then back down to 210. Today it got hot enough to turn on the "check gauges" light, around 255. My fans are working. This is my DD and i drive 23 mile each way to work. What should i check first. thanks

My Camaro did something similar to that it started showing hot and then one day it started pegging out almost.Turned out the sensor was bad changed it and never acted up anymore or you could have broke the black air spoiler under the bottom off had that happen once to the faster I went the hotter it got and then I realized it was gone ha ha. Just something to check. Hope ya get it fixed.
