You have to buy a custom harness..and a cable 90 TB if keeping the LS2 manifold setup. And maybe some injec adapters too, depends what youll be using.

You might wanna read and search a bit on that; plenty of info on it and its very doable.

theres 24x and 58x version of ls2, depend which one you got.

I've done a fair amount of reading on the subject, but haven't really seen anyone mention any kind of $ figure involved. If you had two separate complete longblocks, one an LS1/LQ4/LQ9 and one an LS2/LS3 what would the price difference in having them swapped in for your current LS1 be?

I'm curious in just the cost of the labor of the conversion and any parts that would not be included in a longblock.

You need a 24x reluctor on the crank...

Then order a kit from TSP, lingenfelter etc... that has the knock sensor extensions, cam position sensor extension and TC cover... You need a LS2 valley cover too IIRC....
