Angry low oil pressure galley???!!!!

alright guys i know you guys can help me out here, i have 93k on my motor and i have about 35psi oil pressure cold and decreasing steadily as the motor warms up and goes all the way to ZERO when it gets to temp (according to the stock gauge) but the motor sound horrible when it gets hot sewing machine has got nothing on how loud the valvetrain is....i thought that i would replace all of the cheap things like the galley gasket (that i havent replaced ever even after the asa cam install) but now i busted the galley sensors trying to get the valley cover off so i need to replace those as well. but i need to know if theres any kind of chance that i dont need to rebuild the motor and go for any possible fixes before i go all out and go for a full rebuild. NEED YOUR HELP GUYS!!!! really the sound overtakes the entire car when the it gets to around 210deg. any suggestions??????

Did you replace the oil pump and timing chain when you did the cam swap?

car is not tuned, was looking into a dyno tune when this all happened. but i knew about that problem with the o-ring when i was installing the pump so i was extra careful with it, but hell anything is possible, getting that bolt for the tube started was awful. i have heard about smaller pushrods possibly causing low oil pressure. and i changed my pushrods to 7.350. btw changing my fram oil filter, heard those things can cause some serious oil pressure problems.

if you messed up the oring would have thought that you would have had the problem from the start. Maybe a faulty pump or something. If it were a bearing clearance issue i would think there would be alot more noise from the bottom end before this point.

That is the same thing it happen to the 95 camaro i had about 35psi at cold start and drop down to 0psi when it got worm at idle but when driving it went up to about 10-15psi! I never got to look into the problem i gave the car to my dad, and its been in the garage since but i think it has to do with a cam bearing? or the oil pump spring?? maybe!!

alright intake is off as well as the galley cover, looks like there is a little wear on the cam from maybe not getting enough oil, ill upload pictures tonight. but 2 questions.

1) can i get to the oil pump o-ring w/o taking off the front cover ie just dropping the pan. this would allow me to check if the pickup screen is blocked and save me some time.

2) I am running a FRAM oil filter(maybe 1k on it)....after hearing all of the horror stories about them im going to change it immediately. BUT could an oil filter really be the culprit here considering the major problems i am having with oil pressure?

by the way I got the valve covers off last night as well and there appeared to be oil getting up to the heads (sure didnt sound like it) but i will upload pics of all of that tonight.

thanks

I would also point the finger at the melling pump, i just replaced my oil pump with a melling hv and i had great pressure at first and then it dropped out of no where checked the o ring and it had been pinched and now with a stock o ring im getting only 10 psi when warm at idle

can you physically see that the o-ring is pinched if you drop the pan? I would like to avoid taking off the front cover if at all possible.
