Yup mid 10s. I do have some weight taken out of the car though. No fly cutting or p to v issues. I shift the car at 7200 rpm and its still pulling. Dlove is a member on the boards. He does the tuning on my car. LG has put a lot of time and research in there cams. If you look on the cam only list youll see my cam on there a few times along with the MS3. Granite I have a big stall right now, but when i put the cam in I was on the stock stall. The car didnt buck or studder when I was driving at low rpms.

Minshall, can you post your cam specs and also a possible dyno curve? i DD mine for the most part and although you say it didn't give you any problems, it would be nice to know where the cam actually comes into play and just how the curve looks in general. also what stall size are you running and what's your race weight?
thanks
that's a nasty time for cam only

LG dosent show the specs on that cam on their site,, but i did see a for sale post for one on here that listed specs as 239/242 649/609 111.5 lsa
But dont quote me on if thats correct or not..
my main question with this is that how come more folks arent running this cam... or am i just not aware of just how many folks are running this cam... id love to get into ,, hell,, 11's would make me happy,,, i just want to retain stock heads for now,, but want the most for my money and still be able to take my kidz out for ice cream in the car without it being a hassle more than a pleasure,, but still be able to whoop some *** if nessacary.
Ive always wanted to cam,, but you know how it goes,, get all the other stuff first, which i do have,, rear and supporting mods for the new power,, which i also now have,, so i think other than more research to be sure im getting what i want,, and $ of course,, im ready to go for it. This will be my first cam install, so im pretty pumped,, just dont wanna jump the gun on what cam im getting...

Do you have a A4 or M6? Can't remember if you have stated..you should put your mods in a "SIG" to help us out ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
With bolt-ons and a streetable cam in the 227/230-234 range which is probably the route you would want to go being you have and want to keep stock heads, you should see 12's. Breaking into the 11's isn't going to happen unless you have a A4, stall and you get a good 60ft and traction. Even then I don't see it happening.

Yes this is with stock heads.
The cam specs I dont know. LG doesnt let anyone know. There are rumors as to what it is. Ive been told its a 240/244. All i know is its on a 111 LSA. Unfortunatly I dont have a dyno sheet. The car has never seen a dyno. Its been tuned on the street/track. Im running a TH400 with a Circle D 5C 230mm stall. Its a 5K stall. Race weight is right around 3000 with me in it. The car still has full interior.
With the X3 or X4 cam i dont see any reason why you wont go 11s. My buddies wife has a stock Ram Air with a 3500 stall, gears, and long tubes with true duals. The car has been 11.90s in good air. Let me remind you this is with NO cam. THe only weight reduction was a VFN hood and the a/c compressor removed.

I would talk to someone that really knows what you need. Just surfing this site is just going to get you different cam specs and everyone's opinion.
Call someone like Geoff Skinner at EPS and he will get you exactly what you're looking for. http://www.engpwrsys.com/

Ya, i saw someone put the specs on the G5x3 on one of the pages on this forum. and then he also stated the G5x4 is +2 in duration on both sides. I won't give out the numbers because obviously LG is making a good product with a good amount of research so i'll let everyone dig around. Again nice time on a cam only car (for the most part
)

Lots of good info and happy folks with high gears and that cam,,, makes me want it even more,, ![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
Thanx! and while im open to suggestions from any vendor,, im looking for folks that are running cams to give me impressions on what they have used, liked, disliked, etc and how i can make my choices based on my set up and goals. ... the main area is in my keeping stock heads,, not milled or anything,, just stock.

I am running the G5x2, no track times but it's a 232/240 112+4. Ran it with a SS3600 and now a PT4000 and it pulls hard.
Thinking of switching to an EPS 234/246 111+3, but I'll do that with a set of AI 243s...
