How should this 408 do?

Default How should this 408 do?

Well the old LS1 died on me so its time for an upgrade. I decided to go with a TSP 408. What kind of power should i expect out of this setup?

TSP 408
Wiseco -8cc dish 11:1
PRC 237 68cc
242/252 .614/.614 112+3
FAST 90/90
PS 1 3/4 LT
ORY magna flow cat back
Fidanza twin disc
strange 9"

I would probably opt for for 1 7/8ths on the headers

I say about 520hp im running a 408 with trickflows 215 and texas giant cam. I made 505hp and 478tq. are you running the stock maf and what size injectors?

its got 90mm Maf an stock injectors as of right now

run at least some 38s on that set up 46 I would say would be better for you. Go ahead and upgrade them. If not you are going to run lean as **** on the top end. Better to do it right then to spend all that money for no reason. Im guessing you are on the stock fuel pump also.. You might get away with it for a while. Just make sure you have all the supporting mods.. would hate to see a new motor get trashed.

was planning on upgrading the pump then waiting to see what A/F looked like once i get it on the dyno.. Everything just got ordered yesterday so still got awhile before it gets here.

Those PRC heads look good and it's a healthy cam so I would say 520-550 depending on tires and exhaust and gears and water pump etc.
