Does it get louder and speed up with the RPM's? it sounds like its coming from the bottom end which doesn't sound good, i'd agree with maybe rod knock

I will post a better quality video. Also i don't know if this helps or not...I drove it to the shop on friday to drop it off.. and after I drove about 5 miles the sound totally went away. I haven't heard from the shop yet. Sounds like they will not get a chance to look at it until Monday... The car seems to run perfect..... I don't understand what the hell happened. I went to start it up the other morning and it was instantly that noise... I doesn't get louder with rpms.....it stays the same volume...

Thanks for your help guys....I'm pretty sick right now about this The thing that sucks is I was going to sell my car for a good amount of money and put it down on a 2010 SS....

is it stick or auto? sounds like a throwout bearing or a cracked flexplate.

check your heads around where the manifolds bolt up and see if there is any black suet there. that is a good indication you have a blown gasket. also get under the car and see if you can pinpoint where the sound is coming from exactly. that will help lots as well.

Well just a little follow up on the problem. Took the car into a local shop that I trust and they found I had a loose bolt on my torque converter. Problem solved!!!! I love cheap fixes!
