Default Stay under 450hp

I'm looking at building an engine and I need to stay under 450 hp because of the transmission that I'm running. No I can't upgrade the tranny because its in a porsche and that's the biggest it gets. It needs to be a decent daily driver and it'll be a road racing car. I'm hoping just to get an amazing curve and not a huge peak for power over 450.
Right now my setup is patriot heads 59cc, Jesel J2k rockers, dual .650 springs, 3.905 pistons, 6.200 rods, ls6 intake and TB. That leaves me with picking a crank, cam, lifters, and possibly upgrading to a FAST intake.

Will a 383 stroker set me up to high for hp? Will a 102mm intake or 90mm set me over? I think I can get a custom grind cam to match any of these setups to get a really nice flat curve or am I wrong?

I basically want all that power I can get under the 450hp..

torque is what brakes things.a 383 will easily make 450 rwhp.use a ls6 intake with a EPS cam .

Its the 944 Turbo (951) transaxle. Developed in junction with Audi. The number most often associated with its strength is 450hp.

I'm with garygnu on this one, torque is what kills things. Put a 360hp duramax diesel in front of that tranny and i'll go boom like nothing if it hooks.

450hp @ 6000 takes 393ft/lbs of tq. The same torque at 7000 is 525hp.

If you're trying to keep the tranny alive, find out how well it likes rpm.

To keep the power curve smooth, stick with wider lca's, they seem to make smooth power, and hold on to the top a little better, without a large midrange peak.
