the next step to my build
if any of you saw it, im the guy who just installed the tsunami cam with ls6 heads.
so here is my next idea.
forged 383 shortblock
high compression pistons(11.0:1 or maybe even 11.5:1)
fast 92 or 102
100mm maf
104 mm lid
42lb injectors
a few misc. boltons i dont have yet
my hp goal is 500 rwhp, right now im making 426 on a mustang dyno. what do you guys think of my plan? i think it would go great with my current head and cam combo.

Should have no problem breathing, thats for sure! Other than the obvious get a GOOD tune and you should easily be there. Consider your fuel pump too if you haven't already (that and rails...)

Looks like a pretty sound plan. Are you going to be buying a shortblock or just grabbing a rotating assembly? If you are buying a fully built shortblock you might consider a 408 stroker. If you build it with an iron block the price would be cheaper and you would probably end up making better power. Just a suggestion, good luck with the build!
