Default cam suggestion

My Car:

1999 trans am A4 w/3.23's 112k miles, BONE STOCK

First let me break down what I am looking for:

Looking for 380-400rwhp. Low 12's or better.

How I will be using the car:

Daily driver, I want something I can ride around in all day with the A/C on and not have to worry about the streetability of the cam.

Mods besides the cam I will be performing:

LT's
ORY
ls6 intake
ported tb
lid
free mods

I have been reading up and I think I have picked a cam that would be good for me.
Futral F13 230"/232" .595"/.585" 114LSA

Just trying to get some other voices with either a yay or nay on this cam for what I am looking to do with the car.

You will need a converter no matter what.

A 228/228 114 cam with a cutout will get you 385+hp and 12.30s or better and be friendly as heck to drive daily with no issues and use beehive springs and stock pushrods to get it done. But you will want to add 3:73 gears and a 2800-3200 stall to complete the combo.

Get a good stall 1st. There are so many cams that will get you what you want. Any cam from a 224 to 230 will get you the goals you are looking for with a good tune.

Garygnu, thanks for all your help. I am looking at a 3000-3200 stall, what brand would you recomened? I see you are running a 3000 stall, how is it treating you and what brand is it? What kind of springs are you running?

Would this work for compressing the springs?
