Default Headgasket issues?

These may be stupid questions but is there a differance in headgaskets if I have an LQ4 block and 243 heads? I was thinking the stock GM ones for an LQ4. Or do I go for ones for an LS2? Are they even differant?

Both the 243 and LQ4 are Gen III designs. If you use an LQ4 head gasket you'll be fine. No personal experience, but the LS2 replacement is a different P/N. Something about it has to be different.

I would use the lq4 gasket and make sure its the multi steel type and not the graphite kind.
