well i got my cam swapdone now. car is back running. i now have a tr230/224 111lsa. it sounds wicked i also added asp underdrive pulley, ls2 timeing chain, ls6 oil pump. ls6 intake. i have a appointment at thunder racing on in just a couple days for some dyno tuning. how safe is it to drive untuned? i don't plan to really i have only taken it from the carport to the backyard to wash. i do need gas tho. what should i expect out of this thing i am really hoping for right around 400rwhp. we'll see.............

 

you probably wont harm anything with just the cam and the ls6 intake and stock injectors but i will get it tune!! do you have headers? i think is going to be short on the 400rwhp!! with an underdrive pulley, cam and intake i think it will be in the 350-370rwhp

 

Do not take it over 4K rpm you are bound to hurt something specially if its still has a factory tune.

 

oh all my mods are lid, ls6 intake, tr230/224 cam 918 springs 7.4pushrods, ls2 chain,ls6 oil pump, asp underdrive pully, m6 with ls6 clutch, pacesetter uncoated lts, tsp true duals, b and m short throw

 

Ok i see you have other mods and a good flowing exhaust now i think it will be in the 400rwhp

 

You've come this far...be patient and don't open her up until it's tuned. You'd feel pretty stupid if you broke it b/c you were impatient. Not to mention...until it's tuned, it's honestly probably slower than stock.
