I just had a light hone done in my 99 5.3 block, the piston to wall clearnace is 005 which my buddy at the machine shop said is a bit much for a stock cast piston (which im using). i already emailed total seal asking about my ring options.

just curious to what you guys think.

ps: this is going to be a budget boost motor..
