Engine builders..... Question on rear oil galley plug
The manual says this rear oil galley plug should be .08 to 1.4 mm below flush but mine will not go in that far and sticks out about 1mm. I tried tapping on it quite hard and it doesn't go in any further. The gasket thickness will make sure that it doesn't interfere with anything. Should I have any concern with this?

Re: Engine builders..... Question on rear oil galley plug
I recently went through this on my 422. When it stops it's home. Don't hit it any harder, you'll only bend the shaft between the "O" ring and the barbed seal. Looking at the pic, you've concaved the convex. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> It's in now, enjoy.
