Run J2k's with hydraulic rollers Can I run a set of Jesel J2K rockers with a hydraulic roller setup even though they were meant for a solid roller setup? What is the difference between the rockers for a mechanical setup and a hydraulic setup?

You shouldnt use the rockers off a solid cam as these have adjustments on the top to set the clearance to the valves as the lifters are solid.
Where as the Hydraulic Type rockers use correct length pushrods to set the preload once preload is set no adjustment is then required and also hydraulic type lifters.
If anyone has a better explanation jump in.

It's perfectly acceptable to run those on a hyd roller , somewhat overkill but you won't have any problems at all . The T @ the end of the part # signifies tool steel adjusters which can handle the abuse of solid rollers . If you don't want them I'll trade you NIB Harland Sharp adjustables

I'm not wanting to turn this into a **** show but can I get this figured out? I have the rockers and if I can make them work it would be a hell of a lot less hassle. Overkill is alright with me.
This won't be a **** show . Call Jesel on Monday . I've run J2K's and they are a very nice setup although expensive . These rockers are necessary for solid rollers because of the need for adjustment and to deal with the increased stress . How much spring pressure were you running with the solid setup ? A hyd roller won't have near as much spring pressure . Running the J2K's will allow you to dial in your setup if you intend on turning some high rpm's . You'll still need to get the right length pushrods and this is slightly more involved than with stock rockers but still pretty simple .
