Will a stroker pass smog in cali if...
you put a smaller cam in it say like a 382 ci with stg 2 heads and a TR224 on a 114 lsa or smaller.What if I add a super charger to it will it pass smog with a 50 state legal S/C.

whats the point of doing a stroker with such a small cam :shrug:. stick with stock cubes with the tr224 114 and get some nice heads and you should pass. you'll need LT's on either setup to take full advantage and thats where its gonna get you. you'll need to swap them out or find a shop to overlook them.

How big a cam can I go with a 382 stroker and still be able to pass the sniffer.As for swapping out the exhaust I don't mind doin it every 2 years plus I just found a guy that overlooks headers close buy

i have seen people pass with the TR230 cam, but also most will pass with the TR224 even with the 112 lsa with good tuning. it's all about the tuning. or you can be safe and go with the 114 lsa. but you can add a strocker and put a big cam in it and just change cams every 2 years like me and my friends do. and i am sure you can find someone to help you with the LT's. good luck....ahh yea, then after you do that add a ATI blower...hahahahahah.

...I just sqeeked by in NY (55PPM) with hydrocarbons of 60 PPM allowed..
Mods:
ported heads CR = 11.2 to 1
cam 220/220, 564, 564, 112
LT heads
all other bolt-ons..
The sniffer can be fooled a tad by adding 9 or 10 cans of methonal (dry gas) to a 1/4 tank of high test...
