Default Does my cam match my heads?

Well I bought a set of 59cc TSP 5.3L heads recently and will be installing them on my Datsun in the next few weeks (Have a brake issue to deal with first).

My current mods are:
LS1-T56
224/224 .567"/.567" on 114,
FAST 90mm intake, FAST 90mm TB,
1 7/8" hugger headers (no LT's will fit)

Current setup #'s untuned are:
11.77@ 119.97
378rwhp and 366ft/lb

I am questioning whether my cam will be a good match for the rest of my mods. This is our 3rd car (wife and i each have honda's, ya thats right I have honda's) so its not a DD its our fun weekend occasional driver.

Previously I was talking with a friend with an '00 SS who's my mechanic and he was suggesting upgrading to a 230-ish cam with a bit more lift 580's but that was without doing heads. Would a cam in that size be a good match for the heads, or would I be close to running into PTV issues?

With the heads being at a 59cc Chamber I would definately want to check piston to valve clearance if you go with a larger cam. The cam you have now would have no issues fitting with those heads. As far as what to put in there, I think it really depends what you are looking for out of the car. I would have to guess the car is pretty light to it would make it easier to step up in cam and still retain driveability. Give some more information about what you are looking for and we might be able to help you a little bit more.

The car is about 2800lbs give or take with 3.90 gears and tires are MT ET Drags 235/60/15s for the track. I'd love to get down to 11.25 or so in the 1/4. No emission testing on the car and milage doesn't really matter either, drivability needs to be decent though as my wife and I do drive this car to-from work during the summer a few days a week. Therefor no stalling at lights is a must (albeit I understand that tuning is a huge factor in that) a choppier idle than I have now won't bother us as this cam idles stock at 900rpm

The car is mainly street driven so a fat torque curve is a must. Here's my last dyno from this spring before my FAST as tuned. The 400trq was wheel spin so that run is inaccurate.
